Parking at Fort Myers Beach
As with any popular beach town, knowing your parking options ahead of time will help to make sure you have a great day at the beach! Fort Myers Beach parking is easy and once you know where to go, you’ll be all set.
Pay Stations
The Town of Fort Myers Beach has recently implemented 9 new pay stations at the following locations: Newton Park, Connecticut Street Beach Access, Palm avenue Beach Access, Old San Carlos and under Matanzas Pass Bridge. These new pay-by-space pay stations allow visitors to park, take note of what parking space they are in, pay at the pay station and go directly to the beach without returning to display their ticket in their car.
We’ve put together a helpful map to show you the various free and paid parking locations. There are other parking spots throughout the beach area but these are the main lots. All information is subject to change.
Prohibited Parking
- On the sidewalk
- In the wrong direction (against the flow of traffic)
- In a handicapped space without a valid permit
- In a fire lane
- In areas officially marked as prohibited
If you are in doubt as to whether you are parked illegally, please contact the Town of Fort Myers Beach office for advice at (239) 463-5888 before you park and leave your car.
