Waterfront Restaurants on Fort Myers Beach

Bayfront Bistro

After opening up in 2009, this casual fine dining restaurant, situated on the back bay within the Snook Bight Yacht Club & Marina property, has won a host of awards for delicious food, an impressive wine list, and unique views and overall atmosphere. Bayfront Bistro’s mid-island location makes it easy to get to from either end of Estero Blvd, and with the activity of the yacht club and marina going on outside, it’s hard to beat the waterfront experience that Bayfront Bistro offers. The interior of the restaurant is quite impressive, with a long, raised bar allowing patrons to enjoy a wide view of the scenic Estero Bay. The indoor dining room is also spacious and every seat has a view, but you should definitely try to sit outside on the covered deck to immerse your senses in the beauty of the surroundings even more.

FMB Insider Brian: “Try the Sweet Fire Shrimp if you like a bit of spice and want to enjoy some of the Gulf’s best seafood.

FMB Insider Jennifer: “A little more expensive than most places on the island, but it is easy to see why. The decor, the views, the service and the food is all top notch. Also, don’t miss the chance to see Tiki Bird, the resident green-winged macaw usually sitting on his perch in front of the marina’s ship store. He’s beautiful, but don’t try to pet him, he likes to bite!
